      Setting Up Tandem Bins in Mobile & BarnTalk Web Portal

      Tandem bins can now be set up in the BarnTalk App (version 4.9.0) or the BarnTalk Web Portal.

      Setting up tandem bins can only be done by a primary or secondary gateway owner. CallTree members cannot make these changes.

      Mobile App

      1. Open the BarnTalk app and select your gateway.
      2. Tap the gear icon in the top right corner, and select 'Create Tandem Bin Group'.IMG_1926IMG_1927
      3. Name the tandem group, and select the BinTalks for that group (up to 5).IMG_1928
      4. A new icon will now show on the main page for the gateway that shows the group.IMG_1929

      Customer Portal

      1. Sign into the BarnTalk Web Portal.
      2. Select a gateway that has BinTalk or BinTalk Pros paired.
      3. Under actions (3 dots), select Edit Tandem Bin Group.Screenshot 2025-10-09 at 10.53.57 AM
      4. Name the group, and select the sensors to be added to that group. Save! Screenshot 2025-10-09 at 10.54.44 AM

        1. Action options (3 dots)
          1. Edit the group
          2. Delete the group 
          3. Graph the group data

      Using Tandem Bins in Mobile

      1. Tap on the new tandem bin tile.
      2. The first view will show the combined feed total, and how much feed is in each bin. Scroll down to see a graph of the combined totals.IMG_1930IMG_1933
      3. To view more information, select an individual sensor.IMG_1931IMG_1932
        1. This will show consumption in the last 24 hours, days till empty, and the last refill date and time.
        2. Please contact our customer support team if the density needs to be adjusted. 
        3. This view can also be found by selecting the sensor on the main page for the gateway.
