Connect up to 8 BinTalk sensors per Gateway.

View your feed bin levels in real-time with the BarnTalk app. Stop climbing bins and prevent feed outages before they happen.

The camera includes a windshield wiper to keep the lens clean and ensure BinTalk is >96% accurate! The readings become even more accurate as the feed level gets lower.

BinTalk’s patented clip-on mounting makes installation quick and easy. To further secure your sensor, utilize the two included self-tapping screws to prevent the sensor from being bumped around by your feed truck driver.
How to Install Your BinTalk Feed Sensor:
Installing BinTalk is simple and can be done in 10-15 minutes. No tools are required to mount it to the top of your bin, and you do not need to drill holes in your bin (self-tapping screws to further fasten the sensor to the collar are included if desired). Setup BinTalk Sensors in Your App:
As of April 2024, you can now setup BinTalk feed sensors using the BarnTalk app in just a few simple steps. With this update, you no longer have to contact our Customer Success Team to get BinTalk sensors up and running.
What Does the App Look Like?
- For now, the BinTalk feed sensor will only show a percent full.
- We are in the process of building out calculations so the individual user can set the sensor to report tonnage left in the bin. Also on the roadmap for the near future is to integrate warnings and alarms around low feed and fill events.
- The app will report percent full in 1% increments, with above 95% showing ">95% Full."
BinTalk Subscription: The BarnTalk Gateway subscription is $49/month or $525/year subscription and will have a subscription increase of $10/month or $120/year with the addition of BinTalk feed bin sensors. This subscription is based on the number of Gateways with BinTalk and not based on the total number of BinTalk feed sensors.
